Would Bielsa get a better tune out of them
Think any coach worth his salt would. But to answer directly; starting from scratch, yes I think he would.

We are rotten aren’t we

Training game for them, we aren’t going to compete but at least make them work

No composure, no intensity

Forshaw our best midfielder out there after spending the best part of 4 years in A&E

Roca was awful tonight, Kristensen cannot take a ball and run at the same time, it fucking baffles him. Gets it, his feet stick to the floor like it’s magnetised and he’s got steel boots on, kicks it straight at the player closing him down. I know Ayling and Klichs legs have gone but they’re still twice the players of Roca and Kristensen and should be ahead of them both in this squad.

That’s not even saying they’re good enough, just better than the starters

Does Jesse go this time next week after 4 on the bounce? Gives us a nearly a full window to recruit if he does so I reckon he’ll be dead man walking till February

Yep, even though it's Man City there should be some kind of plan evident.

All I saw was Meslier and the CBs awkwardly work balls out to our full backs to just kick up the pitch in a frantic manner. Then every now n then we'd chase it and try force a mistake from their defence, usually resulting in a Man City counter attack where they're pretty much in down our wing. Rinse and repeat. That's not a plan it's just mindless panicking.

Yeah we showed some fight towards the end but that was just winning a few second balls when Man City were in 2nd gear and game was done.

Noticed for a while now Roca is sloppy in tight areas, but tonight he was ridiculous. Must've conceded possession 6 times at least in that first half. One occasion we had a counter attack on and he just sliced it to nobody when he just had to nudge on to Forshaw racing through middle. Utterly brain dead is the lad at times.

Decent left foot but doesn't suit this system or league imo. Needs time and space and options to ping ball to, otherwise he just brain farts.

According to Marsch we were "stable defensively" in that first half. Mental.

Never mind first 45 mins, it took Haaland 45 seconds to go through on goal.
