Just home from the game and 2pts dropped is the summary
We looked a lot more organised & calamity 'proof' at the back - down mainly to Wober looking like the man who can organise us and actually read a game rather than play solely reactively
and in panic as we have been doing
Ayling looked like he'd rewound to his heights
Adams v.good & our real drive
Rodders - well after making me really question whether I should have such a low opinion of him and his efforts after a really good performance against Villa & a good one V Cardiff, was back to 'FFS, get him off'
Why wait so long to bring Paddy on?!?
Aaronson looked stronger in the challenge & a noted improvement on this front BUT too many shitty flicks that came to nowt & needs a reset period on the bench
Sinni not quite sharp yet
We set up ON PAPER with three spread behind a front-1... but played with 2 on the left & one on the left side of centre and feck all on the right to link in with Luke?!?
Controlled the game - with little real cutting edge til late on ad Brentford game to play deep, with nos. behind the ball & hoping to counter
A satisfying improvement across the back line & not looking like we'd be caught out so easily if we lost possession - but a bit too predictable in a one-sided unbalanced attack that was crying out for Paddy at 1/2time & a 10min debut for the new boy
Marsch has managed to stem the arterial bleeding that was desperately hoping he'd go... but we're still gunna bleed to death with him at the helm
Excellent Summary.
Like you was hopeful Bamford would be on at half time.
Minimum he should of been on after. 60 minutes.
Bit worried he was holding his shoulder late on.
Hopefully they use the cup game to bring Sinisterra up to speed.

No manager has "Celebrate moments" within their key instructions surely. Guy's a fuckin fruitcake.
I know one that uses 'small victories'.
Won't say who as I'd get in bother probably. The ethos there with him is small victories in game to build on.
Yeah but surely not in a 'keys to the match' kind of way? It's a general thing not specific to any match. As is clean sheet mentality. Absolutely no relevance regarding Brentford whatsoever.
It's on a list similar to that one of things to remember every game. It's sometimes altered to 'small victories lead to huge wins'.
That Marsch list just further reinforces what we all know, in that they're being told to throttle the play stupidly narrow and his motivational attempts aren't landing. They'll get game specific instructions as well I'm sure but I'm betting they aren't much different to that leaked one.

A lot of coaches make lists for positive things and the buzz word in Rugby League at the minute is to do the 1 percenters but a list that big? Number 3 was the one that got me. Reminding them of his tactics shouldn’t be there, thats what training is for or a pep talk. It’s almost like he knows its not natural for them so I’ll brain wash em. Next he will be reminding them we are 3 points worse off and that its not his fault. He’s not a football coach, hes a motivational speaker and psychologist.
